The seventh rune of the first Aett symbolizes the exchange of energy as the condition for a system’s stable existence; in other words, from the perspective of this rune, only open systems are stable.

The purposeful motion set by Raido makes the walls part, and a shaft of light pierces the darkness. From within comes fire and brings illumination. Such a light through the clouds symbolizes the Rune Kenaz.
Kenaz (pine, torch, Kano, sometimes Kaun, ulcer) — the sixth Rune of the Elder Futhark, corresponding to the process of transition from neutrality to the fertilization of Receptivity.

The process of the Power’s manifestation, accomplished by the first four Runes, finds its equilibrium in the Rune Raido.
Raido (chariot, riding, road) expresses the idea of a means of movement along the Way of Power.

The force conceived by Fehu in Uruz and carried by Thurisaz finds its manifestation in Ansuz. In other words, Ansuz (As, the mouth, the Orifice) corresponds to the very process of the birth of force — neutrality — fertile passivity.

The fourth Rune of the Elder Futhark is connected with what so many contemporary rune practitioners lack: inspiration.
