The turning inward at the level of Isa was only the antechamber of a new return, a new cycle. And just as spring inevitably follows winter, after pregnancy, after turning inward, comes birth, a new manifestation.
The eleventh Rune of the Elder Futhark – Jera (year, harvest) – the Rune of organic development, which is always cyclical.
It continues the Second Aett — the Rune of passivity, of slowing, or even suspension of movement. However, given previous events, this suspension is necessary for further development. The purposeful motion set by Raido makes the walls part, and a shaft of light pierces the darkness. From within comes fire and brings illumination. Such a light through the clouds symbolizes the Rune Kenaz.
Kenaz (pine, torch, Kano, sometimes Kaun, ulcer) — the sixth Rune of the Elder Futhark, corresponding to the process of transition from neutrality to the fertilization of Receptivity.
Fairies are a people arising from two distinct sources. One branch of them are the “offspring” or the result of the degeneration of the Light and Dark Alvs.
The process of the Power’s manifestation, accomplished by the first four Runes, finds its equilibrium in the Rune Raido.
Raido (chariot, riding, road) expresses the idea of a means of movement along the Way of Power.
